Okay so something I don't get is why we give cute Christmasy things on Christmas morning... wouldn't you rather be using them all December long??

So I like to stretch Christmas out as long as possible... instead of stockings, how about an advent calendar? Give someone you love 12 days of cute Christmas items from conscious companies - sounds like a good deal to me!
I like to include a little chocolate with any of the physically small gifts... is it really an advent calendar if there aren't chocolates? So this doesn't count as one of the gifts...
